hey, you know that thing i vowed never to do again when i nuked my website the second time? restricting myself to one topic for my website? yeah, i did it again. the weird part about my brain is that i always restrict myself, but i can't work when i'm too restricted. hilarious, right? ech. i'm not saying i'm tired of weezer, because i am not. you and i both know that much, lol. (who are you, again? nobody even reads this blog.) i just got tired of only doing weezer shit for this website. anyway, i'm an apple fanboy now. i'm editing this from a 2012 macbook pro. i only bought it because it has firewire and the oldest ipods (gen 1-3) need that to sync, but it turns out it's a damn good laptop, too. i missed using a laptop. i've mostly ever used laptops to write this site. it started on the school laptops we got for online school, then i used my old laptop, then we got new school laptops, and now the macbook pro. of all of these, my old laptop runs the absolute fucking WORST. i HATED using that thing for the last couple months before i got my actual PC. it came out in 2018 but it feels more like 2008. sometimes windows explorer wouldn't even load, and i'd just have to use cmd to open windows. this macbook, as i said, came out in 2012. it's 11 years old. it runs like a dream, dude. genuinely the fastest laptop i've ever used. it probably helps that the previous owner gave it an ssd and a ram upgrade, but theoretically i could have done that myself. even then, if i just used an older version of osx it wouldn't have even changed much. anyway, hopefully by one of the next few blog entries i'll have finished the Fucking Radical New Design i thought of. this finally won't look like a cheap copy of ms-dos, wowwee!!!
